Good for you, Wrick! And welcome!!!

Will you tell yourself you will write be a certain day, say 200 words by Wednesday, another 200 by Saturday?

Anyway, it looks totally manageable. Let us know how it goes! :-)

This is an interesting concept. I get a sudden rush to write, churn out a thousand words or more, and then just let it slide for weeks and weeks on end, and have to psych myself up to start writing again. I will be very gentle with myself at first and just commit to writing at least 200 words at least twice a week - that's a bottom line minimum by the way. If this stimulates me to write more, and more regularly, so much the better. The think is to keep the ideas turning over - after I have written something I often go to bed thinking about what I have already written and ways to develop the story. Maybe this way I will keep on a roll. I am doing this writing purely as a hobby, and self gratification, so I don't have the pressure of deadlines or other people's expectations.

I will report back in a week and let you all know how I go.

Cheers
