I seem to remember reading something about our natural tendency to sleep and stay up later and later, if we let ourselves--so making the day start earlier and earlier is especially rough. I haven't made a real list of all the possible future changes I will make, but it felt like I got a lot done today. (That said, my New Year energy juice didn't show up at my 5:30 wake up time this morning. But I'm ready to try again tomorrow.) I think I was aware of this feeling of possibility today.
